H.E. Dhafer Al Qasimi is the Group CEO of Silal, a leading agri-food company under ADQ, as well serves as Chairman of SAFCO and Chairman of Al Bakrawe Group. He leads the Group’s strategic growth, drives international expansion, and champions efforts to strengthen food supply resilience, support national food security, promote sustainable agri-food practices, and scale local production through innovation and investment.

At the federal level, H.E. Al Qasimi is a Board Member of the National Agriculture Center, contributing to the development of the UAE’s national agenda for agricultural research and innovation.

With over two decades of experience spanning in the food and agriculture sector, H.E. Al Qasimi has led transformative initiatives across the entire value chain, from policy and planning, production, distribution, and innovation. His leadership is defined by his ability to optimize resources, build resilient supply chains, and champion technology-driven, sustainable solutions. Prior to joining Silal, he served as Director at ADQ, where he oversaw portfolio companies within the Food & Agriculture cluster and led efforts to expand global supply networks through strategic investments
