Silal will fund and support selected UAE farmers to test innovative farming ideas at Silal Innovation Oasis.
Have an idea that could improve farming in the UAE? The Farm Innovation Fund gives you the chance to run a fully supported pilot project worth up to AED 200,000.
Each year, five farmers receive trial land, technical expertise, and implementation funding to test their innovation under real farming conditions at Silal Innovation Oasis.

Is prior testing required?
No. Prior experimentation strengthens an application but is not mandatory
Where are pilots conducted?
All pilots are designed and implemented at Innovation Oasis designated facilities with technical support from the program team.
What can the funding be used for?
Funding may be used for pilot implementation costs, equipment, materials, testing, specialist support, and anything else required for bringing the idea to life.
How many projects are selected?
Up to five projects are selected annually.
Is participation in commercialization mandatory?
No. There is no obligation to commercialize or scale beyond the pilot phase.
What are the evaluation criteria?
Shortlisted candidates are assessed by an independent expert panel using the following criteria
o Innovation Value
o Technical Feasibility
o Impact Potential (yield, cost savings, etc)
o Scalability
o Commercial Potential
