Zayed for Good Foundation and Silal Group Enter Strategic Partnership to Advance Agricultural Innovation, Sustainable Food Security and National Talent Development

Al Ain – 22 April 2026: Zayed for Good Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Silal Group, Abu Dhabi’s leading agri-food and technology Group, to advance a sustainable agricultural ecosystem driven by innovation, knowledge, and high-impact partnerships. The agreement supports efforts to strengthen food security and enhance the resilience of communities to with stand future challenges. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the UAE Agricultural Conference and Exhibition 2026, held at ADNEC Al Ain from 22 to 26 April 2026.
The MoU establishes a joint framework for collaboration between the two parties, focusing on exploring opportunities across several key areas. These include developing national talent in agricultural technology, engaging students in hands-on learning experiences that strengthen the connection of younger generations to the agricultural sector, and advancing innovative solutions through Silal’s “Innovation Oasis” to address challenges related to agricultural production, resource efficiency, and productivity enhancement.
The areas of cooperation also include the development of local and international agricultural projects in priority countries, through the provision of technical and advisory support. This will contribute to the transfer of Emirati knowledge and expertise to global markets. In addition, the partnership will deliver integrated capacity-building programs aimed at empowering farmers to adopt modern, innovation-driven, technology-based practices that ensure sustainable and high-quality production.
This partnership reflects the foundation’s shift toward development-driven models that create long-term, scalable impact beyond traditional humanitarian support. This stems from a firm belief that investing in this sector is not only an economic imperative but also a fundamental pillar for achieving social stability, upholding human dignity, and building resilient communities capable of withstanding climate and economic challenges.
Commenting on the signing, H.E.
